The above snapshot (changes hourly) pretty clearly shows the relative popularity of the iPod nano units. Buyers seem to prefer larger capacities and black over white, at least on Amazon.com as of right now. Excluding headphones (primarily because they are not MP3 players, duh), which also throw off the numerical rankings of players, Apple clearly dominates the list.

hmmmmmm….
4Gb mini’s are still popular by the looks of things…. more popular than most of the nano’s for this snapshot.
Funny. Seems like SanDisk is outselling Creative and everyone else (except Apple!!). That’s gotta hurt. Unless, of course, if Creative or someone else owns SanDisk.
Apple dominates the list !!
Cool !!
If you don’t want to see the accessories you can narrow down the search on the left: Accessories, HD based or Flash Based.

Amazon UK is selling 20 gig iPods for $355 US. Four gig Nanos go for $327 US
And Amazon lists the AirPort Express as outselling th Mini 6GB (silver) @ 5:30 PM Eastern (US) Daylight Time.
I have long thought the AirPort Express to be the neatest piece of technology apple makes…..
What’s the betting that the three pairs of headphones in the top 20 are all being plugged into iPods!
How do you like tehm Apples.
Tim.
Well, here I was beginning to believe the previous story about iPod sales being down … and now I don’t know what to think since Amazon.com is the be-all end-all bellwether of all sales forecasts, right?
