“The nation’s No. 1 radio host says Steve Jobs doesn’t know what he’s talking about,” Frank Barnako writes for MarketWatch. “In a posting on his Web log, Rush Limbaugh disputed the Apple founder’s statement that podcasting is the hottest thing in radio. Limbaugh countered: ‘I am the hottest thing in podcasting.'”
Barnako writes, “Limbaugh has begun offering podcasts of programs to subscribers of his online fan club. ‘This program is the hottest thing in podcasting,’ he claimed. He added that he’s thinking about bolstering the content distributed by file downloads to include a morning update and interviews he does for his newsletter. ‘Raw, unedited, just to see what these things sound like,’ Limbaugh said.” Full article here.

MacDailyNews Take: If you’ve ever listened to Limbaugh, you’ll know that the boasting is part of his act, partly a joke, but, at the same time, he sort of means it, too. Limbaugh is a great (unpaid) promoter of the Mac, iPod and, now, podcasting. Limbaugh is currently heard on nearly 600 radio stations by approximately 20 million daily listeners on the Excellence In Broadcasting (EIB) Network.

“i don’t really have anything intelligent to add..”
You should have left your sentence at that.
While I may not personally like Rush, and I think he’s a poseur for the Republican Party (I happen to be independent), let’s remember that a majority of the people who lead today’s liberal Democrat Party are straight out of the drug culture of the 60’s.
Their handiwork is evident in San Francisco, Berkeley and Santa Cruz. All wonderful, wholesome places to raise a family.
oo the tension is the room is so thick, how about we call play fair ball now…
The Point of my “act any more white” comment was meant as a sarcasm and yet, even a friends > chandler play off hence my random emphasis on the word ANY… It wasnt meant to be take nto seriously.
And i love how you all assume that im a liberal… Just cuz i dont like Bush doesnt mean im a liberal, as a matter of fact im so far from socialistic views im more republican with an open mind toward different kinds of people…
cant you all just stop trying to insult each other and trying to play on each others weaknesses, none of use know eachother so we all come across stupid since we’re just spouting useless assumptions
I always love the political hyperbole here.
One liberal says something bad, all liberals are responsible for what every other liberal says, therefore what was said is representative of all liberals, therefore all liberals will be voted out of office. Brilliant. Luckily, I can see that not all conservatives are stupid, just the ones who have posted here.

Maybe so, but Limbaugh is still a fat, stupid, loud mouthed hypocrite.
