Apple posts iMac G5 Introduction Video online

Apple has posted their “iMac G5 Introduction Video” online. The video is 3 minutes and 43 seconds in length and comes in three sizes, Small (1.2MB), Medium (2.3MB), and Large (7.2MB) and takes considerable care to tie the new iMac design concept neatly to the company’s iPod.

QuickTime 6 is required. Links to watch the video here.

  1. “if Apple wanted to stay with the times then maybe they should have used Outkast or Ludacris (as spotlighted by the Bush twins at the RNC)”

Billboard Hot 100: Black Eyed Peas at #21.

Ludacris? Outkast? Yeah, about six months ago. Where’ve you been?

This is what happens when you try to get an idea of “What’s hot” from 21-year-old privileged Republican white chicks. “Hey, maybe we could get that Reuben Stoddard fella. The kids think he’s off the heebie…”

    (Sorry, I couldn’t resist…)

  2. Mac Manager,

I always like the “he had it coming to him” line.

Yes, the Jews had it coming to them, Lacie Peterson had it coming to her, Rodney King had it coming to him, etc.

Take a look at the video dude. The guy beat the crap out of the policeman during an unpermitted protest march with an ACLU “observer” (note for the green hatted woman watching) looking on who then turned and walked away after the cop was comotose on the ground.

However, let me say, I’m glad these snotty nosed, little spoiled brat protesters came out. It forms a good backdrop for the GOP convention. Let’s give middle America a better idea of who to vote for in November, the guy who’s loved by the empty-headed anarchists in the streets or the guy the calm, rational people in the hall are for.

    Compare and contrast. Always good.

P.S. I agree. Apple chooses the lamest music for their spots. Bunch of old marketing guys trying to figure out “what newfangled music them young whippersnappers like these days”.

  3. Eric Da MacFag, thank you for making me nauseous. And don’t call yourself a man you fuckin’ pederast. Real men love WOMEN! I look forward to the day when AIDS rids humanity of you and your kind.

Peter, would you mind telling me what the hell you’re talking about? I’m unaware that Mr. Jobs called up the Bush twins and asked them what music he ought to put in the new iMac video. But if you have information to the contrary, I hope you’ll share it with us.

  5. “Real Man”, you shouldn’t boast. I remember your father sucking my dick while I butt fucked your mom’s hairy ass. Then he spit my cum into your mama’s mouth and she swallowed my seed and said it was the best she’d ever had.

  6. I always love when liberals equate conservatives and republicans with “nazis.” Nazis were a socialist party. Democrats and liberals are socialists….

    hmmm…

Anyway, is this board here to discuss politics or Apple, Macs, iPods, Microsoft, and related technology?

  7. Twilight,

The problem is that the meaning of “Classic Liberal” (as in the mold of Jefferson) has been forgotton in recent years. Most “conservatives” these days are actually Jeffersonian Classic Liberals (“the government that governs least governs best”).

But using that label is too much of a mouthful for most modern socialists to use so “NAZI” (even though that term more acurately describes the mentality of the radical left in America and Europe) ends up being an easy epithet to sling against us. No matter, we know we’re the ones who ultimately have to fight the big-government socialist party types who want to impose their totalitarian world view on the rest of us. That’s a fight with a proud history.

And no, this is not the place for Mac News (at least at this point in this thread).

  8. And what country is that MMngr? Iran? North Korea?

It’s always nice to know that even people with very little brain like our friend MM, can find just enough few gray cells capable of choosing a Mac. It warms my heart.

  9. Axel, you’re comparing a country to a continent, moron. You have gone to the extreme of adding 50 or so countries (that comprise 1/7 of the world’s population) together to make your claim.

    >> BTW, Europe won more gold medals at the Olympics than the U.S. We cleaned the floor with you.

  10. Axel,

Now you’re just being retarded. First the whole notion of “we’re better than you because our continent beat your country in the Olympics” is just juvinille.

Admittedly North America ONLY has 115 medals compared to more from all the countries in Europe (someone else can add those up). But keep in mind that the sheer number of European countries is going to prevent another single country from dominating. This is basic statistics.

Second, what does geography have to do with it? How about if we add up all the English speaking countries vs. the French or German or Chinese speaking countries?

How about if we add up all the countries that participated with the US against Saddam?

There are many ways to slice the pie. Of course, by country seems the most logical so that may be WHY IT IS USED!

    Sheesh!

  11. Not that anybody asked, but I’m tired of white. White iPod, white iMacs, enough already. It’s way too feminine. I think they should’ve made the new iMacs with the same metallic look of the new monitors.
