Apple today released iTunes 4.6. iTunes 4.6 includes support for playing your music wirelessly using AirPort Express with AirTunes. It also includes “a number of other minor enhancements,” according to Apple’s notes.
iTunes 4.6 requires Mac OS X version 10.1.5 or later (Mac OS X version 10.3.4 is recommended). Music sharing and DVD burning require Mac OS X version 10.2.4 or later, and AAC encoding requires QuickTime 6.2 or later. AirPort Express with AirTunes requires Mac OS X version 10.3 or later. To use music purchased from the iTunes Music Store in iLife ’04, you need to have QuickTime 6.5.1 and the latest iLife software updates installed. 256 MB RAM is recommended.
Make sure you have the latest update of Mac OS X, QuickTime, and iLife. Get the latest update by choosing Apple menu > System Preferences, then clicking Software Update, and then Update Now or Check Now. After you install an update, it’s a good idea to click Update Now or Check Now again to make sure you’ve gotten all the latest versions. To create audio or MP3 CDs with iTunes, you need an internal Apple CD-RW drive. To back up your music to a DVD, you need an internal Apple SuperDrive. Some third-party CD-RW and DVD-RW drives may also work.
If you plan to listen to music previews or buy music from the iTunes Music Store, a DSL, cable modem, or local area network (LAN) Internet connection is recommended.

one guy from finland.
I don’t have too much contact with people from Finland but I hope you don’t represent the country as a whole. You consistently post moronic and flame-baiting posts at MDN. As many have asked you already – worry about your own country.
Truth hurts doesnt it ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”wink” style=”border:0;” />
Only hurts if it’s true. In the case of your reasoning and posts, I have nothing to worry about.
Finlame,
You truly are an idiot. Thank god you live in that sht hole country of yours. Stay there you jealous little worm. I assume you’d rather have Saddam back in charge illegally running his country and killing and torturing, etc. You are sickening.
Macster: My understanding was that if you had airport express then iTunes would automatically detect it and the new feature of selecting a “room” would appear.

…iTunes automatically detects the connection. When you open iTunes on your AirPort-equipped Mac or Wi-Fi-compliant PC, youll see a popup list at the bottom right of the iTunes window showing your remote speakers. Select it, click play and your stereo becomes the worlds greatest digital jukebox.(2)
AirTunes is a wonderful thing. It works nicely without this new thingy.
I tried it today and works beatifully with my Harman-Kardon + PowerMac.
I wonder were are those new displays?
Bush to Nrnberg!
Setup was actually Airport Extreme card=Power Mac + connection to H&K and streaming from PB 12″ with AEc.
