Previously, multimedia on the Bush-Cheney ’04 Re-election Campaign website was available only via Windows Media and RealPlayer. Now Bush-Cheney ’04 site offers a third choice, Apple’s QuickTime, in “High Speed” and “Low Speed” versions.
The John Kerry campaign website multimedia is offered with a choice between Windows Media or RealPlayer. The Ralph Nader campaign website offers video clips with a choice between Windows Media or QuickTime.

The addition of QuickTime to the Bush-Cheney ’04 website follows the addition of the free President Bush Mac OS X Screen Saver. It seems that, of the three major candidates for U.S. President, only President Bush recognizes the Macintosh platform at this time.

First, the reason the Bush people are using QuickTime is because they needed SOMETHING that comes from their administration that actually works.
Second, I think the Republican party’s philosophy is nothing short of treasonous. EVERYTHING they do starts by catering to big business and their own self-interests, all with a HOPE that a regurgitated version of Reagan’s “trickle-down” theory will actually work. It never does. Republicans are personally responsible for creating unimaginably huge national debt (financial rape), a degradation of the world’s environment, eliminating needed social services including those established for police and fire departments. The Republicans totally destroy our economy and environment with their abuse of power; a total disregard for US citizens. Unemployment numbers are dropping ONLY because the people are STILL unemployed but going from the unemployment office (a poor way to count the nonworking) to the welfare office or moving in with a relative.. Bush’s IGNORED DESTITUTE. Remember when Bush wanted to change a McDonald’s worker from being counted as a restaurant worker to being a manufacturer JUST to screw with the numbers? What a total f-ckin’ idiot!!! Why do we tolerate such BS?!!
NONE of their plans can possibly succeed beyond a few years; just enough time to make their personal profits and then leave.
It’s like being raped up the ass by them, and afterwards they give a lame excuse like, “Well, now you have a chance to see a doctor free of charge. See if he will fix your other ills.”
It is far beyond my comprehension why ANY sane person would support such a destructive administration and philosophy, or the BS they use as excuses when their plans fail.

and while I’m sounding off, I have several Republican friends, so I can actuallly see people for having beliefs and and I can respect those beliefs. Of course those people usually share some points where we meet, and points where we do not. In this world, the unpolorized are in the minority, as can be witnessed on this site. I voted for Bush, but now regret it. He is using “terror” as a reason to impose his own terror, removal of personal rights and even imposing his own religion (anti-gay marriage). I am not gay, but do not see the fear that Bush claims there is if my gay neighbors marry.
The US is not under any more threat than we were before, but Bush constantly causes waves of fear and dread in his speeches as a reason to push his own cause. He said the war was over a year ago, and hundreds more of our sons and daughters have died as well as thousands of others (which he never seems to mention) from around the world.
Bush has become the expert in delivering FUD (fear-uncertainty-doubt) as a mode to rule.
