FinkCommander is a graphical user interface for the Fink software packaging system for Mac OS X. It provides an intuitive front-end to the Fink command-line tools for downloading and installing Unix software. FinkCommander includes a sortable table of package data and a filter to facilitate finding the software package(s) the user is interested in. The user runs a fink or apt-get command by selecting a package or packages in the table (if the command is package specific) and then choosing the appropriate command by menu, toolbar item or key combination. The standard output for the command appears in a text view appearing below the table. The FinkCommander Preferences panel allows the user to configure Fink itself by changing the fink.conf file and includes several options for customizing FinkCommander. More info here.
