Apple has begun airing a new iPod + iTunes TV commercial featuring the song “Love Train” by Wolfmother and the same silhouetted dancers with iPods and white-corded earbud headphones as in its previous iPod + iTunes ads. The current ad features psychedelic background colors and a 60’s-style influence.

Nice but nothing new here.
Hey! Get that Apple logo off that commercial!! It makes me think the Beatles released a new album
Boring ad. They are starting to all look the same.
The title comes up, but the video doesn’t seem to be loading.
Maybe Apple was hacked ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”wink” style=”border:0;” />
good to see wolfmother getting a bit of exposure.
great band.
…and a few reloads later, the video has popped up again. Wonder what caused that.
Too funny, Yoko!
Now go scream like someone is strangling the shit out of you.
The use of the Apple logo by itself as the final image of a brand new ad suggests they’re pretty confident about what the judge will say Monday in Apple vs. Apple.
MacWorld beat you to the punch on this story, MDN.
Cool, but the guitar smashing would have been better suited to a Who song. ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”wink” style=”border:0;” />
Is everyone on crack? Is there no possibility of an ad on which you don’t have to turn down the volume?
I know what the May 9th release is…
It’s the beatles catalogue on iTunes. Isn’t the ruling May 8th?
zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
How many people using an iPod dance around like in those ads? Every person I see with an iPod is like some zombie on prozac staring out into the nothingness.
I dig it. Nice colors, just really cool to watch. These ads got a little bit left in them methinks.
I alos think they are a great compliment to the “Get a Mac” ads, which are very dry. This ad gets the energy of Apple across.
Apple is smart – Ads for teenagers = $$$$$$$ deducted from parents bank accounts. Style sells ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”cool hmm” style=”border:0;” />
I don’t like that song. It doesn’t sound good at all.
good song. bad ad. i agree with the prozac comment.
now, someone will sue apple arguing that it makes their kids use drugs.
The ipod adverts are getting a bit stale…
New iPod ad features a crazy idiot dancing around like their finger is in a light socket… loud “music”… crazy colored backgrounds…
It’s a *different* ad??
I hadn’t noticed….
I dance like that when im alone… with my ipod… so to say people dont is just your assumption ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”raspberry” style=”border:0;” />
“nothing new”? are you stupid, thats some real art there. It looks uber sweet!
MDN word: Dead, like your brains.
I like it more then the Get a Mac ads that’s for sure. I often think that people are expecting you to bust into a silhouette ad just because you’re listening to an iPod…too funny!
It pisses me off that my not quite 2.5 year old iMac running Jaguar cannot play that add but my almost 5 year old Compaq laptop running XP has no problem at all.
I think the ads would be more productive if they showed people using the calendar or the games or going through the address book or waking up to the iPod alarm or checking an address or watching a movie or … forget it.
I like the colors – now where did I place those shroons?
