Donald Trump calls for Apple boycott over San Bernardino terrorist iPhone encryption

“Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump called on Friday for a boycott of Apple Inc products until the tech giant agrees to U.S. government demands that it unlock the cellphone of one of the killers in the San Bernardino, California, attack,” Emily Flitter reports for Reuters.

On Tuesday, a U.S. federal judge ordered Apple to create a special tool for the FBI to bypass security protections on an iPhone used by one of the shooters in the December 2, 2015 terrorist attack in San Bernardino, California. Apple refuses to do so and vows to appeal the decision.

“‘Boycott Apple until such time as they give that information,’ Trump said at a campaign event in Pawleys Island, South Carolina,” Flitter reports. “‘It just occurred to me.'”

MacDailyNews Take: Sounds like pretty much everything just occurred to him.

A little thought before opening your yap wouldn’t be such a bad thing, Donny.

BTW, Donny the genius tweeted his boycott epiphany from his Apple iPhone.

Boycott Donald Trump until such time as he proves he’s read, understands, and will adhere to the U.S. Constitution.

Hey, are Oompa Loompas eligible to hold the office of President of the United States of America?

  1. So many libtard commenters angry at what Trump said and not at what the Obama administration did, typical hypocrisy. The wailing and gnashing of teeth when President Trump takes office will be legendary and fun to watch!

    1. You are so right…major hats off
. look at the frenzeed high star votes by ‘liberal’ side when it comes to bashing Trump over what more or less Obamas position is. … Lol

Polarization, if unaddressed , will kill this country…as we know it…

  2. When Ronald Reagan was President I was hugged by random Europeans on the street, proclaiming their love for the man. During most of Reagan’s tenure the economy flourished. Reagan was good for business. When George Bush was President I was spat at by random Europeans. Under Bush the Great Recession occurred and the financial system nearly collapsed. Bush was bad for business.

Donald Trump is being condemned by world leaders, including the Pope. I have never heard a single Republican candidate in my history of following politics call for a ban against an American company. Donald Trump is more dangerous than any entity who has ever run for President. Donald Trump will destroy business and the world economy.

  3. Go Trump! Yes, would love an Apple boycott until the fudgepacker caves! Peep walk Cuck into the slammer in the sodomite cell block until the FBI gets what they want.

    Altogether Now …. USA … USA … USA … USA … USA … USA … USA … USA …

  4. He won’t get my vote !!!!
I wish people really understood the potential problems this release will cause , it goes even further than just
    Apple , obviously ..
It’s a shame those monsters weren’t using Android phones 😩

  5. To say, “it bears repeating that those who dislike Obama have only themselves to blame for the last eight years.”

To begin with, MOST people that dislike Obama did not vote for him and are therefore blameless. Perhaps you are insinuating that, since I dislike Obama, and though I DID not vote for him, I have access to many different means to take him out. And, since I have not done that, or any group I could be a part of has not done that…the we are to blame?

No. More correctly, those who dislike Obama AND voted for him, or didn’t excercise their right to vote, have only themselves to blame. And there are LOTS of other people to blame:
    1. anyone who knows with certainty that Obama is not the legal citizen of the United States and therefore ineligible to run.
    2. Those who are in power that, know beyond a shadow of a doubt, that Obama has illegally used his power to alter the intent of the U.S. Constitution, which Obama swore to defend and have not enacted actions against Obama to hold him accountable. (Same goes for Hillary).
    3. The corrupted officials in our government who have lost their way in life and are apathetic to the situation knowing they would be in jeopardy for by putting themselves under scrutiny of those they should go after to bring down this presidential regime.

I could go on and on and on.
