Teen arrested after snatching iPad from 4-year old boy

“16-year-old Lauderhill boy was arrested Monday, accused of snatching an iPad from a 4-year-old’s hands as the child watched cartoons in a Tamarac salon,” Emily Miller reports for The Sun Sentinel.

“Investigators say Aaron Sapp opened the front door to the Grace Salon, 5449 N. State Road 7, about 7 p.m. July 24 and asked an employee if his mother was there,” Miller reports. “When the employee turned her head to look, Sapp snatched an iPad from Alejandro Ariza’s hands and ran, Broward Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Dani Moschella said. The 4-year-old, whose mother works at the salon, was not injured.”

“Days later, the Sheriff’s Office released surveillance video of the robbery,” Miller reports. “Several tipsters called Broward Crime Stoppers to report Sapp as the robber seen in the footage stealing the iPad, Moschella said.”

  1. Ah, the lovely USA after years of Obama incompetence. Black teen from the typical broken home — with the requisite idiot “mother” — who is already on probation snatching property out of the hands of illegal alien child (and future Democrat voter for life) who cannot even speak the language of the land. If Obama had a son, surely he’d look like Aaron Sapp.

    1. The kid’s mom didn’t tell her future low-info Democrat voter for life rugrat about a “bad man,” she told him about a “mal hombre.”

At least this kid will have a story to tell his fellow burger flippers over the decades of public mooching to come.

      1. Why do I need a passport to get back into my own country, but anybody can just waltz in across the Mexican border, get a driver’s license and God knows what else in U.S. taxpayer-funded benefits?

The Democrat Party answer: It benefits us, we can’t win elections otherwise, so the country be damned!

Obama and anybody else who fails to protect and police the U.S.’s sovereign borders is a traitor.

        1. Republicans deserve to have cheap labour to prop up their belief that they are superior so they hire Mexicans that they directly or indirectly smuggle across the boarder. Republicans are entitled to have their own slave class of workers but object to Democrats wanting these new slaves to be treated fairly and be educated and kept healthy.

      2. Do not lose hope, mxnt41. The vocal minority on this site makes it appear that inflexible, tunnel-visioned viewpoints are the norm for the U.S. These people twist history into an unrecognizable parody of what actually occurred in order to promote their own agendas. They also peddle a brighter future that can *only* be achieved by rigid adherence to a rigid and somewhat internally inconsistent set of requirements. It is political religion doomed to failure.

I believe that more flexible, moderate, and rational people are still in the majority. We just tend to be less vocal. I have to believe that, because the alternative is loss of hope for th future.

    2. > Ah, the lovely USA after years of Obama incompetence

If there’s ONE THING WE CAN ALL AGREE ON, it’s the EVERYTHING is the president’s fault, if he’s not the person we ourselves voted for.

Finally we can have some unity.

  2. It’s sad that a teen would have the nerve to steal an iPad from a child.
I commend the mom who is working to better herself and provide for that child (and yet, has a forgiving heart – I can never be that forgiving), but scold the teen and his mother. The teen is already on probation and comes from a family that only has a single mother with three other children. Most likely she is on welfare and cannot afford one child (even though that is an assumption). The mother is probably only embarrassed because one of her four children got caught doing something tragic and now it has spread via media. How sad!

Everyone else here blaming Obama, Democrats, and the Republicans – shut up! What does politics have to do with a teen coming from an obvious broken home? Crime has been around since the beginning of time. Social and economic classes have been around since the beginning of time. You think change of leadership will bring about the elimination of such classes? There will always be the uneducated who will do these heinous crimes, and the good people who will follow the law and make their neighborhood a good place to live.

    1. We blame the Dem/Lib/Progs because:

It is beyond a coincidence that every social indicator in the U.S. took a nose dive once prayer and the Bible were removed from public schools in 1962. Add in the fact that moral relativism was added and the gray area of no absolute right or wrong became individual standards of vacillation, and it should not surprise anyone that the U.S. finds itself where it is today.

When it’s “okay” to kill babies and sell their body parts for profit — taxpayer funded, no less — pretty much anything goes.

That doesn’t change the fact that there is RIGHT and WRONG. Regardless of how many currently are capable of understanding the difference.

The top five complaints of teachers from 1940-1962: Talking, chewing gum, making noise, running in the halls and getting out of turn in line.

The top five complaints of teachers from 1963 onward: Rape, robbery, assault, burglary and arson.

Secularism and political correctness are the cancers that are killing America.

Divorce is now acceptable. Children from broken (yes, BROKEN) homes generally do not get proper upbringing or proper family time.

Taking into account both divorce and non-marital childbearing, sociologist Paul Amato estimates that if the United States enjoyed the same level of family stability today as it did in 1960, the nation would have 750,000 fewer children repeating grades, 1.2 million fewer school suspensions, approximately 500,000 fewer acts of teenage delinquency, about 600,000 fewer kids receiving therapy, and approximately 70,000 fewer suicide attempts every year.

      1. “When it’s “okay” to kill babies and sell their body parts for profit”

just like when it’s “okay” to refer to something that has been debunked as a hoax.

my children are looking forward to your indoctrination camps. i mean private schools.

      2. GOD BLESS YOU, Fist 2014!
I would never know what my true opinions are, without your mind-numbing intellect to showmen the way!
I have now made a pledge to base my life on Fist’s and MDN’s teachings.
GOD BLESS YOU, and all Republicans for wanting to take our sacred, chosen, blessed Country back!

      3. Yep, good ol 1962.
That’s when Dad could buy a house and support his wife and 2 children with his paycheck from Penny’s. Buy a new car every other year too. Mom could be a house keeper and be there for the children when they got out of school. Then there’s that tax rate of 91% for the top bracket that really encourage business owners to put more money back into the business by expanding and hiring more people. Completely the opposite of todays employers who cut personnel to the bone and over work the employees, because they can. Also didn’t have to compete with women and black folks for jobs, or should I say women and N*****s, because this was a time before that pesky political correctness got in the way.
I’m sure every problem in this country would go away if we were all forced to read the bible daily. Maybe we could exicute any non believers in public. That seems to work in other parts of the world where religious consevatives rule
