Apple CEO Tim Cook auctions lunch at Apple’s campus, VIP keynote passes

“Apple CEO Tim Cook is participating in a charity auction through Charity Buzz, giving the winner a chance to dine with him at Apple Headquarters in Cupertino, California, and to enjoy the use of two VIP passes to an Apple Keynote,” Karma Allen reports for CNBC.

“The auction, which launched Wednesday morning, has an estimated value of $100,000,” Allen reports. “The current bid is already up to $37,500.”

Allen reports, “Proceeds from the auction will support the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights…”

    I would ask Timothy to make new actually flagman 4″ iPhone (alas, it looks like it is not going to happen this year). The demand, according to MDN poll is only slightly below demand for 5.5″ flagman.

  2. If Tim Cook wants to give money to charity, he should just do it. There’s no need for some ostentatious display. If I had lunch with him, he would get an earful. Of course I’m sure that who ever bids the winning amount won’t really get to talk to him about much of anything. It’s just PR.
