Queue outside Apple Store Fifth Avenue continues to grow

The queue outside Apple Store Fifth Avenue continues to grow for whatever Tim Cook & Co. will reveal on Tuesday, September 9th.

Expected new devices and services include iPhone 6, iWatch, iOS 8, HomeKit, Health app, HealthKit, iPad Air 2, and/or OS X Yosemite.

Apple teased the media last week with the event invitation stating “9.9.2014. Wish we could say more.”

  1. Fun rumor a friend passed along to me: The ‘box’ Apple has built at the 9/9/2014 presentation site is a “catwalk”. A fashion runway, dahling.

    catwalk \catwalk\ n.
    1. A narrow walkway projecting from a stage into the seating
area of a theater; it is used, e. g. by models displaying
clothes on it at a fashion show.

Or models displaying wearable devices? OhLaLa!

    1. In order to be politically correct, the models will be selected from an LGBT slate and, not stopping there, will lean toward the senior and the zaftig.

Not saying I am amongst them.

    1. I think in most cases people are getting paid to stay in line by someone else or work for a company that reviews phones so they can have the first reviews. Also, the tearsdown guys are in there as well. And some people are able to sell the iPhone for double what they paid for it. So I would think for most in that line they are there for some kind of profit gain.

  2. Commenting about lines at Apple Store, especially the 5th Ave Flag ship Store in NYC is so yesterday. These lines have been a part of Apple History for as long as there have been Apple Stores. It will continue as long as they exist. Deal with it.
