I picked up iVi off the app store a few weeks back, love it. Works perfect for converting and importing directly into iTunes. The pro version rips DVDs also, apple didn’t approve pro for app store. (no DVD ripping software allowed)

What about Handbrake? Is it not good for those same things, video converting and/or dvd ripping?
I use handbrake to rip. Convert from time to time also.
IVi adds all the summary etc. Makes a ripped DVD video look just like a downloaded iTunes movie. In one shot.
And I have found, much faster than handbrake….

I thought they were giving it away for free until Sept 20, but what it means is it’s a free trail that’s good for 2 weeks.
So it’s not really free. Just a trial. Perhaps the headline needs to be changed. I almost downloaded it thinking it was really free.

Many times free downloads are trial apps, BUT the license code MDN listed might make it NON-TRIAL. That’s how the free ones work… Get you hooked, then make you pay for the code… But you already have the code for free this time. Try it. I have not yet.
