Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4 will pick up two Audio Intelligence features later this year: Siri Recap and Live Rewind, according to 9to5Mac’s Ryan Christoffel.
The watches are already on sale. Both additions are tied to Siri AI in watchOS 27 and are limited to the new models.
Siri Recap is meant to keep ambient notes on conversations through the day and turn them into high-level Apple Intelligence summaries users can check later. Apple’s description, cited by Christoffel, says the point is to help people stay present and still jog their memory afterward. Summaries auto-delete after seven days unless the user saves them.
Live Rewind is narrower. A double-press of the Digital Crown surfaces a text snippet of what was said in the last 15 seconds, so a missed or unfamiliar line can be checked on the wrist. From there, the user can ask Siri about the snippet or save it in the Siri app.
Christoffel writes that Siri Recap was not an obvious request, but could be useful if those protections hold up, while Live Rewind looks more limited outside accessibility use until it ships in final form.
