Apple TV has announced that Zoë Kravitz will star in a new untitled original movie directed by Megan Park.

The news comes directly from Apple TV’s official account on X, confirming Kravitz as the lead in the project.

Park, the writer-director known for The Fallout and the 2024 hit My Old Ass, is helming the film. LuckyChap Entertainment — the production company co-founded by Margot Robbie — is producing, marking their second collaboration with Park following My Old Ass.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Apple Original Films secured the project after winning a competitive bidding war against major studios including Warner Bros., Sony, Universal, Amazon, and Netflix. Park will also executive produce.

Plot details are still under wraps, but the story is described as having tones of Big Daddy and Stepmom. It follows a woman who discovers her boyfriend has a secret wife and children when they show up unexpectedly at her doorstep. She is suddenly thrust into a caregiving role, leading to tension and unexpected bonds.

This project reunites Kravitz with Apple TV after her recent role in the Seth Rogen comedy series The Studio. As the film remains in early development, no release date or information on a potential theatrical rollout has been shared yet.
