Navigating the endless wave of fresh releases on streaming platforms often means overlooking hidden gems in music, series, and films alike.

Apple addresses this challenge head-on with tvOS 26.4 by introducing an innovative tool designed to make finding worthwhile content far easier and more intuitive.

Called Genius Browse, this smart new capability is built directly into the Apple TV app. It’s already accessible in the current beta release and should roll out publicly to everyone shortly.

Ryan Christoffel for 9to5Mac:

Expanding the old ‘Genius’ term popularized in iTunes, and still in use within macOS Tahoe’s Music app today, ‘Genius Browse’ makes it easy to find your next TV show or movie to watch.

When navigating the Home tab inside Apple’s TV app, tvOS 26.4 adds a row of Genius Browse categories to choose from.

When you select one of the categories, you’re given a list of recommended titles to check out.

What’s especially helpful is that as you navigate through each recommendation, you’ll see a new row of related titles appear underneath it. So you’re not limited to just the initial batch of recommendations—rather, each featured title unlocks another layer of title-specific recommendations.

MacDailyNews Take: What’s especially great is that Genius Browse can be personalized to individual user profiles and also works with every Apple TV app-compatible third-party services like Peacock, HBO Max, Prime Video, Disney+, and more.
