The 13.6-inch Apple MacBook Air with the M2 chip (8GB RAM, 256GB SSD) is currently on sale for a limited time for just $829 at Amazon (originally $999). This is the lowest price ever offered and a great deal for anyone looking for a powerful and portable Mac laptop.

Why the M2 MacBook Air is a good buy:

• Excellent price: It’s $170 off the retail price, making it a very attractive option.

• Great features: It boasts an all-day battery life, a bright Liquid Retina display, and a snappy keyboard.

• Still relevant: While there’s a newer M3 model, most users won’t miss out on essential features with this M2 version.

This deal is especially interesting for MacBook users looking for an upgrade at a significant discount. If some of the latest features like a fingerprint-resistant finish or Wi-Fi 6E support aren’t crucial for you, this M2 MacBook Air at Amazon is great choice at a very low price.

  1. That extra USB-C port on the MBPs makes such a difference. After a year and a half with my M1 MacBook Pro I can see why some people would even prefer a 4th USB-C port over the HDMI and SD card slot (I haven’t used the former at all and the latter only a few times). 3 is the bare minimum for me (1 is automatically taken up by an external display/power delivery) and I use a Satechi 4-port USB-C hub to power two SSDs and a thermal printer from one port (the hub is only meant to handle two powered devices), leaving one port open. I’d love to see future MacBook Pros with 4-5 USB-C ports, it’s absolutely ridiculous that the new base model M3 MacBook “Pro” was neutered to 2 USB-C ports.
