The star of an Apple TV+ series has confirmed the series’ renewal, despite no formal announcement yet from Apple. So far in 2024, four Apple TV+ series have been renewed by Apple with just one underperforming series canceled.

Slow Horses – Renewed for Season 5: Gary Oldman‘s hit spy show, based on the Mick Herron’s spy series, has been renewed for another season at the streamer, Variety reports. The show’s season three finale just aired on Apple over the December holidays.
Schmigadoon! – Canceled After 2 Seasons: Creator Cinco Paul posted on Instagram, writing, “I am sad to share that Apple will not be moving forward with Season 3 of Schmigadoon!.
Hijack – Renewed for Season 2: Idris Elba… in a statement, he shared, “I was floored by the overwhelming audience response after Season 1. It’s top secret what new situation unfolds for Sam Nelson, but I can assure you we will bring the high octane back!”
Invasion – Renewed for Season 3:Renewal Date: February 13, 2024. Invasion is returning for another season!
Criminal Record – Renewed for Season 2: The show’s star Cush Jumbo confirmed on Watch What Happens Live! that there will be a second season. No word about debut date or any details right now.
MacDailyNews Take: We watched the first season of Schmigadoon! and it was surprisingly good, but, for some reason (change to Chicago or something?) we didn’t bother even sampling the second. Obviously, we weren’t alone. The best of the bunch above is clearly Slow Horses. Invasion remains interesting, and a lot of people seem to have liked Hijack, as well. We’ve yet to sample Criminal Record.

I agree it was great but I’m guessing with the situation in Middle East, Apple is a little scared to hitch the wagon on another season.
Too much toxic woke content. Much of it is a sneak attack woke agenda where like Ted lasso they start off non woke in season one, to hook you in, and then sneak in and go full woke, destroying the show. They do this on purpose.
