Pre-orders for Apple Vision Pro began Friday, January 19th at 8am EST / 5am PST and, in mere minutes, delivery times quickly slipped from February 2nd into March.

Apple has released “A Guided Tour of Apple Vision Pro” on Apple.com and also via outlets such as YouTube a 9:53 video that aims to help prospective buyers experience what it’s like to use Apple’s first ever spatial computer.

  1. A little sappy, but a nice demo of the capabilities. Surprised they didn’t demo any sports broadcasting, which I think will be one of the killer apps for this.

    And for those complaining about the price, recall that the base-level PowerMac G4, with monitor, cost about $2000 in 1999 — the equivalent of $3,657 today. And we snapped those up as fast as Motorola could churn out the chips.
