Apple TV+ today unveiled the trailer for “WeCrashed,” giving a glimpse into the highly anticipated limited series starring Academy Award and SAG Award winners Anne Hathaway and Jared Leto, and based on the hit Wondery podcast “WeCrashed: The Rise and Fall of WeWork.”

From Lee Eisenberg and Drew Crevello, “WeCrashed” will premiere globally on Apple TV+ with the first three episodes on March 18, followed by new weekly installments each Friday during its eight-episode season through April 22.
“WeCrashed” is inspired by actual events — and the love story at the center of it all. WeWork grew from a single coworking space into a global brand worth $47 billion in under a decade. Then, in less than a year, its value plummeted. What happened? Kyle Marvin, America Ferrera and O-T Fagbenle star in the series alongside Leto and Hathaway.
“WeCrashed” is created by Emmy nominee Eisenberg (“Good Boys”) and Crevello, who also serve as writers, executive producers and showrunners. The series is directed by John Requa and Glenn Ficarra (“This is Us,” “Crazy, Stupid, Love”), who also serve as executive producers alongside Charles Gogolak, Hathaway and Natalie Sandy. Leto and Emma Ludbrook executive produce through their Paradox production company, and Hernan Lopez, Marshall Lewy and Aaron Hart executive produce from Wondery.

Whelp! The trailer didn’t do anything for me, I doubt I’ll watch it despite it being free in my + account. I’ll take billions any day over this. BTW, Billions is currently in a difficult space because of the death of the wife of the main star, Damien Lewis. The temporary lead character replacement is (I’m hoping) only temporarily keeping the seat warm until Mr. Lewis (who played the CEO of Axe Capital) returns. All the other actors are still doing a great job but, for now, the first 5 seasons are masterfully written and acted; and the newest one is okay.

I love the new Apple TV+. It is the best streaming device ever. I use it all of the time to watch movies and shows on Netflix, Hulu, and other channels that are available for this amazing piece of technology.

The series “WeCrashed” is the brainchild of Emmy-nominated Eisenberg, known for “Good Boys,” and Crevello. Both take on the roles of writers, executive producers, and showrunners for the show.

Wow, this sounds fascinating! The WeWork story is truly wild. Makes you think about how quickly things can change. Speaking of addictive experiences, if you’re looking for something else to get hooked on that requires precision and timing, check out Geometry Dash. It’s a deceptively simple platformer with a surprisingly deep level of challenge. Definitely a fun way to unwind after watching a docuseries like this!
