“Users of the fourth-generation Apple TV will find it easier to discover new apps for the tvOS set-top box, after Apple added several new app categories to the Apple TV App Store,” MacNN reports.
“The second update that is useful to end users released this week, a total of 12 new categories have been added to the store,” MacNN reports, “with the expansion mostly concerning app categories not typically associated with streaming media to the Apple TV or set-top boxes in general.”
“Aside from more generalized categories titled ‘Utilities’ and ‘Catalogs,'” MacNN reports, “the rest of the new batch covers apps for business, weather, travel, social networking, reference, productivity, finance, books, music, and medical apps.”

If Amazon joined, I would buy one tomorrow… Then, if I could persuade my self that Apple ala cart films and tv was better value. I’d drop my Amazon subscription.
