MacDailyNews Take: As is all too often the case, the lyrics of “Someday At Christmas” by Ron Miller and Bryan Wells, are especially apropos given current events:
Someday at Christmas men won’t be boys
Playing with bombs like kids play with toys
One warm December our hearts will see
A world where men are freeSomeday at Christmas there’ll be no wars
When we have learned what Christmas is for
When we have found what life’s really worth
There’ll be peace on earthSomeday all our dreams will come to be
Someday in a world where men are free
Maybe not in time for you and me
But someday at ChristmastimeSomeday at Christmas we’ll see a land
With no hungry children, no empty hand
One happy morning people will share
Our world where people careSomeday at Christmas there’ll be no tears
All men are equal and no men have fears
One shining moment, one prayer away
From our world todaySomeday all our dreams will come to be
Someday in a world where men are free
Maybe not in time for you and me
But someday at ChristmastimeSomeday at Christmas man will not fail
Hate will be gone and love will prevail
Someday a new world that we can start
With hope in every heartSomeday all our dreams will come to be
Someday in a world where men are free
Maybe not in time for you and me
But someday at Christmastime
Someday at Christmastime

Would love to see the complete version of this as a free track on iTunes…
Gosh he’s been around a long time. Good to see him still ticklin’ the ivory. Nice ad.
Yeah, a full-length video of this would be nice…as long as they don’t send it to us automatically! 🙂
Steveland Hardaway Judkins, aka Stevie Wonder, has always been a class act.
What an inspiration.
Another black singing about being free someday.
What an A-gap!!!
