“While the 18-karat gold Apple Watch Edition has been receiving a lot of attention due to its premium pricing and aesthetic, Apple will sell far more of the lower-priced Apple Watch and Apple Watch Sport models, and has created a different customer journey for those customers, according to sources briefed on the plans,” Mark Gurman reports for 9to5Mac.
“Most of the sales process will be familiar to buyers of other products from the Apple Store, but a number of steps are different, including the process of visiting a ‘magical’ display case, trying on different models, playing with demo units, considering Apple Watch accessories, and actually finalizing the purchase,” Gurman reports. “After a customer books an Apple Watch try-on appointment via the Apple Online Store or iOS Apple Store app, Apple will walk him or her through a try-on and sales process in the Apple Store.”
Gurman details the entire customer experience for the upcoming Apple Watch launch here.
MacDailyNews Take: Fingers crossed that this goes well. Good luck, Apple Retail Store employees! We expect (hope, pray) to pre-order our units on April 10th.

What is it you get out of trolling?
I originally named him trondude but I changed it to trolldude after catching him posting drivel so often on this site. Perhaps he is this way because we never really knew his father.
Your about as original as my ass loser.
Annoying the likes of you!
Sorry, not annoyed. I asked a question that you are afraid of answering. You are a winner in a Charlie Sheen sort of way.
And you spend your extra funds on, let’s guess, drugs?
Not drugs — basement furniture.
Your mom.
What a pathetic little creature you are! How old are you?
It can’t get here fast enough. Feels like it’s been forever, and it’s STILL only March.
I can take bets that the NY Soho store will be a major clusterfuck like everything they do. Appel needs to replace all the staff and start over.

I would rather buy my Apple Watch at Staples than set foot in my Apple Store in San Diego.
What is it you get out of trolling?
I thought the use of “magical” was pretty stupid. Well… I still do. But those display units are pretty amazing.
