“One of the top designers in the world and the leader in electric car technology were spotted engrossed in private conversation this past Sunday at an exclusive Academy Awards afterparty,” AppleInsider reports.

“A source tells AppleInsider that both Jony Ive, Apple’s famed designer, and Tesla CEO Elon Musk were among the attendees at Madonna’s A-list Oscar afterparty on Sunday — an extremely exclusive event where all press and photography are strictly prohibited,” AppleInsider reports. “Ive and Musk were observed speaking “really close” and ‘basically inseparable’ from each other for a period that seemed to stretch on for roughly 30 minutes, this person said.”

  1. What two people, of particular fame, can’t hold a 30 minute conversation without everyone calling it something?

It’s a 30 minute conversation. I can talk about my kids for 30 minutes. They very well might have been sharing car enthusiasm. Maybe they were talking about the Daytona 500.

Show some respect. (not you though you’re okay.)

  2. Tech reporting is getting closer and closer to celebrity gossip columns all the time. First, Apple’s bold move into fashion, and now all this auto buzz. Media darlings Musk and Ive were seen hobnobbing at Madonna’s gala, one of them sporting a very loud four-in-hand, jingling a glittery fob and sketching on a linen napkin as his pal looked on, a knight in white satin murmuring design suggestions. Too chummy! Fly on the wall, what. That napkin might repay close inspection..

      1. Yes. Clarence Thomas, Walter Williams, Sarah Palin, Ted Cruz, George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Angelo Codevilla, Steve Jobs, Chet Atkins, Aristotle, Brooks Robinson, Clint Eastwood, Ben Curtis, Margaret Thatcher, Donald Rumsfeld, Phyllis Schlaffley, Phil Robertson, Kate Smith, Ray Stevens, Roy Rogers and Dale Evans, Ted Nugent, Barronelle Stutzman, Lloyd Marcus, Johnny Unitas, Bobby Knight, Woody Hayes, Scott Walker, Merle Haggard, John Adams, James Madison, Thomas Jefferson, Patrick Henry, Alistair Begg, Alison Krauss, Ricky Skaggs, Jon Voight, Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, Vince Gilligan, Vince Flynn, Nelson Demille, Andrew Carnegie, Ayn Rand, Ronald Reagan.

I just don’t care for talentless, American hating icons like Madonna and the Kardashians, Kanye West, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Barack Obama, Jane Fonda, Sean Penn, Michael Moore, Chris Matthews, any Rapper, Elizabeth Warren, Bill Clinton, Oprah, Harry Reid, the founder of NAMBLA and all its members, Daniel Schorr, Pete Seeger, Neil Young, Cher.

I like people who like freedom. I don’t like people who don’t like the Constitution and letting others live freely. I don’t like any of todays Democrats. They are all corrupt thugs. And so are their voters.

        1. Please, get Jobs, Lincoln, and the Founding Fathers far away from that top list! It reads like a Teabagger or American Taliban dream party guest list. Or like a pit of snakes, who are also xenophobic and support corrupt plutocrats. Tim Cook needs to call an airlift, to get Jobs and the other respectable people out of there!
