Cloud Drive Explorer is an iOS app that lets you explore the contents of your iCloud Drive across all your devices.
Cloud Drive Explorer will let you examine and preview contents of your iCloud Drive files and folders in great detail, including their size, type, creation date, modification date, and full sub-folder content access.
The app is also able to both preview and open the files in your favorite apps.
Cloud Drive Explorer is a free app and is available via Apple’s App Store Cloud Drive Explorer.

One thing I noticed about iCloud and iCloud drive is that my documents are now on iCloud drive, but under pages they still exist on iCloud (and iCloud drive) What is that all about? And pages defaults to iCloud, instead of iCloud drive????
Hey MDN fyi..the Cloud Drive Explorer app has been yanked from the app store..
this app provides access to your sensitive data by a third party server?
NO GO !
this explorer or finder app for iCloud drive better comes from apple.
Craig has way to go.
“this app provides access to your sensitive data by a third party server?
NO GO !”
My thoughts exactly, at first I thought this may be an Apple app.. why MDN was showing it.
Looks like Apple pulled it, just wonder why Apple approved it in the first place..
Really, someone developing apps for Apple iOS devices thought it was a good idea to name software used by people that do not want anything to do with anything Microsoft, to name their software app with the word “Explorer” as in Microsoft Internet Explorer. I would have flushed that name as soon as someone said it. Kind of like “Grey” as a color choice for iOS devices. Maybe it sounds better in another language.
Developers, please think or ask someone outside of the geek group, what they think about the name you are picking. Please.
I’m not a Microsoft fan, I’m a geek and I hated the Explorer Web browser.
But Microsoft didn’t preempt the English language. “Explorer” has meaning to me other than a Web browser. When I saw the title of the app, I immediately understood its purpose. And the “Explorer” word didn’t give me a bad feeling.
This app is not so great. I tried it. It cuts off the top line of my Text Edit files, and there is zero support offered by the developer.
I think the app was pulled.
I downloaded it an hour ago, no problem.
Not found😟
Same here..’Not available in US Store’. Probably yanked..
I taped on, I got a message saying not available in the US. Humm
I got it in the UK yesterday but checking now it’s looks like it’s not available and suggests I try the US store. Strange. Hope the app is legit as I have it on three devices now,
Not available in Canadian store. Oh well..
Really?
Apple delete this app .
CRAZY Apple.
Not available in the US.
Its not available in the UK i wonder if Apple pulled it for security reason. Anyway i built my own cloud storage service using a Raspberry PI and Owncloud so i could dump Dropbox and keep my files secure and under my control.
I finally took the leap and upgraded my MacBook Air to iCloud Drive, even though I didn’t want to since my iPhone 4 won’t support iOS 8. But I was locked out of my iCloud-stored files on my Mac! Even with iCloud Drive not yet active, I no longer had any access to those files. That was a poorly-designed implementation and shame on Apple for that (deliberate?) oversight.
I’ve said it before, and it still holds true: no iCloud, no problems.
Don’t trust your important data to anyone else, not even Apple. If you read the fine print in the user agreements, you would know why.
