“A flurry of recent rumors suggest that Apple will unveil a larger-screened iPhone this year,” Lance Whitney reports for CNET. “A new series of images have popped up online to add to the rumor mill”
“Renderings of the iPhone 6 purportedly straight from Apple supplier Foxconn surfaced this weekend on Chinese network Wei Feng, as reported by Cult of Mac,” Whitney reports. “he 3D schematics shown off in the images may have even been used to generate some of the dummy iPhone 6 units that have recently appeared, according to the G for Games site.”
“One of the images shows the frame with a height of 5.4 inches (138 mm) and a width of 2.6 inches (67 mm). In comparison, the current iPhone lineup is 4.87 inches (123.8 mm) high and 2.3 inches (58.6 mm) wide.,” Whitney reports. “The power button itself has switched location from the top of the phone to the side.”

Wake me when it is shipping.
The “rendering” is very bad.
Samsung will build full working models based on these mockups to try and beat Apple to the punch. So whoever (someone in CA I think) is making these POS BS leaks, keep making more. Samsung will pour more money and waste more time, while Apple is busy creating the real thing in secret! Well thats my theory. 😉
What will the new iPhone look like? Look at the body on the iPad Air, the iPad mini retina, and the iPod touch. They all have the same shell design. The iPhone 6 will continue this design model. The actual dimensions? Time will tell.
All of these “renders” are getting old and boring. I prefer to wait until Apple actually announces the next iPhone rather than get all worked up over lousy quality renderings and photos. In the meantime, I’m perfectly happy with my iPhone 5.
it seems like the renders and dummies are representative of the real deal. Sad in this day and age when secrecy is so important to have your next product out there fir the competition to see and plan for.
