Hmm, who might make these “other devices” which must not be named?

I cannot believe that no one had anything to say about this.
I cannot wait for this to pop up on my Apple TV homescreen!
Hurray for increased availability of TV content via the internet (on the viewer’s terms).
However a most disturbing recent development is that e.g., US content can’t be viewed abroad. I used to watch PBS when living in the US. But if you live abroad, it is BLOCKED, due to “license restrictions”. What utter BS is this. Can’t even buy this kind of stuff on iTunes (cf. nova.tv), because that too, is only available from the US store.
Good bye net neutrality. Good bye intellectual globalization.
Not good for the developing model of internet TV.
If there are localized passages (i.e., carrying a license, such as ads:)), let that content be replaced by other stuff localized for the viewier.
