RUMOR: Disney prepping ‘Star Wars’ app for Apple TV

“Disney is working on a dedicated ‘Star Wars’ channel for the Apple TV according to a questionable report from Jedi News,” Jordan Golson reports for MacRumors.

  1. If you look at Yoda from the Empire Strikes Back and the Revenge of the Jedi and compare him to the Yoda of the Attack of the Clones and the Revenge of the Sith, you’ll notice that George Lucas has completely destroyed the Yoda we know and love by compositing him in computer generated imagery that looks faker than the hand puppet used to animate Yoda in the earlier films.

That’s why I hate Geirge Lucas. He can’t direct for shit and he destroys the ethos of Star Wars by compositing too much over the top CGI on top.

    1. BLN, what are you? 13? Who the hell besides teenagers give a fig about Star Wars? Maybe a bunch of nerds who live in their mom’s basement. Now I understand more about your crazy posts.

      1. Lol, is “nerd” supposed to be an insult, like “geek”?

Most of the people who care about Star Wars actually grew up with the originals and are in their 30s to 50s.

And *you* gave a fig about Star Wars when you not only dropped into this article, but wasted precious minutes reading comments and then replying.

  2. Like the red iPod to compliment Bono’s Red™ project, will Apple issue a complimentary Apple TV designed in the shape of the ‘Death Star’ when Disney releases the ‘Star Wars’ app?
