Apple releases iOS 6.1.4 for iPhone 5

“Apple on Thursday issued a new software update for iPhone 5 owners, adding an updated audio profile for speakerphone,” AppleInsider reports.

” It is available for both the GSM and CDMA versions of the iPhone 5,” AppleInsider reports. “No other major updates for iOS are expected to be released, as Apple is believed to be hard at work on the next major update to its mobile operating system. iOS 7 is expected to be unveiled at this year’s Worldwide Developers Conference, scheduled for June 10 through 14.”

    1. Had to delete and reinstall Corporate Exchange account followed by hard reset – 3 times – but finally got it back. I was one POed iPhone owner there for about 15 minutes!

    1. That’s funny you said that… I’ve posted the same question multiple times and somehow, it always gets deleted. I guess MDN doesn’t like constructive critisism.

  1. Been waiting for an update to MDN’s app too, for a long long time. I’m getting tired of not being able to zoom, and the nearly useless font button only increases the microscopic font size by 1 point. C’mon MDN, hire a developer.

  2. Sorry, but 6.anything is a FAIL due to extreme suction of Apple Maps. And, no, Google Maps app is not a “replacement” because, in their infinite wisdom, Apple has denied developers access to a users contacts thus making impossible for Google maps app to be as useful as old Apple maps. Bottom line: They will have to pry my iOS 5.1.1 from my cold dead hands.
