Steve Jobs through the years

The San Francisco Chronicle has published an online retrospective, “Steve Jobs through the years.”

The set of 59 photos begin with a 1977 file photo showing Apple Computer Inc. founder Steve Jobs as he introduced the new Apple II computer in Cupertino, California and ends with a photo of the hands of Cory Moll, Apple specialist, stands outside the Apple store on Stockton Street holding an iPad displaying a tribute to Steve Jobs in San Francisco, Calif., on Wednesday, October 5, 2011. Moll has worked at Apple for 4 years, and when he heard the news, came down to the store, creating the tribute to Jobs on the Pages application on his way there. Apple announced the death of Steve Jobs, the Apple co-founder, on Wednesday, October 5, 2011.
