  1. This works perfects for my. Greats.

    ———————————————————

Downgrade to snow leopard driver version.

    This will fix your drops:

Unzip, then unzip the Kext Utility, then drop the kext on the Utility app. Supply your password, reboot and then hopefully all is well with your Wi-Fi connection.

  2. i’ve looked on a LOT of forums etc for fixes to this issue and none of them solved my wifi problems after upgrading to 10.8.

    UNTIL… i did a complete fresh install of 10.8.

since then everything works great 🙂

it’s not a fast solution but it WORKS and my mac is back the way it used to be!

    steps before clean install:

    1) back up ALL your files – i used time machine for this

    2) create a bootable OSX drive: http://osxdaily.com/2012/02/17/make-bootable-os-x-10-8-mountain-lion-usb-install-drive/

    3) do a clean install: http://osxdaily.com/2012/07/25/how-to-clean-install-os-x-mountain-lion/

    4) restore applications, documents, pictures, movies, etc from your time machine back up

i made sure NOT to restore any personal settings from time machine in case they screwed with my fresh install and caused the same problem again.

note: i wasted many weeks looking for a way to fix this issue and the fresh install took less than a day – wish i’d done that in the first place now as my mac works great 🙂

    hope it helps!
