“Some people seem to get a buzz out of coming up with concept designs for products, and given the overwhelming popularity of the iPhone, there are a lot of concept designs floating around there for this product,” Adrian Kingsley-Hughes reports for Forbes.
“Today I’ve come across what I think is both the stupidest and yet most beautiful iPhone 5 concept designs that I’ve seen so far,” Kingsley-Hughes writes.
“The video was created by Dakota Adney of AdneyFilms, who has done an awesome job of making this concept seem real,” Kingsley-Hughes reports. “As much as I think a transparent iPhone would be stupid, for some reason I want one now!”

All so I won’t run into something while walking and texting…
This concept has been around since before iPhone 4!
It does not make it any less stupid, though.
Transparent screens is just another idiotic fantasies from Holliwood, metally impaired “scientific” fantasy creators and designers.
The windshield of Apple’s iCar will have this feature.
I do wish Apple would make cars.
WINDOWS 8 IS COMING. All mac’s going back to there places where they belong under the desk, the bottom of the tech department storage closet, or a very lonely corner collecting dust. Cheer up mac fans your desktops going to look lovely. Again.
It’s about time windows 8 came to my desktop. Then I could leave work and go enjoy my day while the IT guys try to figure out what is wrong.
BTW- it’s “their”, Windows admirer. Hugs and kisses to you.
I think, perhaps, he meant to say “them there places”. How could he be wrong? I mean, places ARE … THERE, aren’t they? And with his amazing insight into the awesomeness of Windows 8, you can tell that this here guy is some kind of an intellectual. But, then again, when you have two of the hardest consonants in your name, I guess you’d be a little bitter (too bad he doesn’t have a Q and a Z in “their” somewhere…
Seriously. He is very funny. I wonder what’s happening on the place where he is working.
Ha!!!
Very nice indeed.
Oh look you discovered cut and paste. Give the boy a star!
And also “Macs”. I realize that even some professional sites have made the mistake of using possessive for plurality but it’s still wrong. While we do say “the 60’s” for some reason when “the 60s” would also do, maybe we created an exception people believe justifies its use everywhere and there’s no longer a need to memorize how to pluralize various words. But you’re a troll and only capable of copy and paste so you probably can’t grasp this simple concept.
Actually, I think he’s trying to be the next ZuneTang. So far he has only the one boilerplate speech written. At least Tang was humorous.
If it were ZuneTang he would have spelled it “MACs” as in MAC lemmings or something. It’s got to be all upper case. But yea, he also put the apostrophe in there as well… Definitely what we have here is an intellectual type.
The 60’s thing came about because of a transposition. 60s is the contraction of 1960s. When people left the 19 off it was contracted to ’60s. Some point after that the apostrophe migrated to the other position.
60’s is still the possessive form and 60s is the correct plural.
Yes, he discovered cut and paste, but the question is does he have to use his pinky and index finger or – God forbid – two index fingers for the keyboard shortcut or is he using his thumb and index finger which is much more intuitive?
ZuneTang! Is that you?
Jexhu
Care to bet on that bozo?
Maybe a transparent iPhone by 2018 via Moore’s law. Not now.
my word!! are u saying apple is going to copy tech Again. well they done it before and it kept them alive so why not it beats development research. where would apple be with out MP3.
No, I’m not saying that. That would be a silly, inaccurate, trollish thing to say.
What tech did they copy, then, Mr. Intellectual-of-the-year?
Ok TART.
What tech did they copy?
MP3 the concept of storing and playing media
file in real time.
ITunes complete knock off of Musicmatch acquired later by Yahoo
The Iphone = RIM /Plam knock offs.
Except Apple doesnt use mp3 they use m4v and the iPhone, which you misspelled btw, is nothing like Rimm’s shit! Thank god for that!
Also, iTunes started out as Soundjam, which was the product of a very small company.
Apple purchased Soundjam, added their flare, and renamed it.
A small point but it’s flair. Flare is a flame. Maybe they did add a flame?
what? do you know go read a ( boo-uk ) book I don’t wanna look stupid explaining the world to an 1di0t TART who knows not even a micro bit but talks a TeraShit.
Palm was a knock off of Apple Newton.
Looks great, just so long as you don’t mind your little tiny battery running out after about 45 min.
That will be GREAT when they invent totally transparent batteries and circuitry. It’ll look GREAT showing the clutter on my desk or my uhh lap while I compose text messages.
Totally idiotic.
Watch OUT!!!! Microsoft apple is looking to cut and paste ur tech. well they done it before and it kept them alive so why not it beats development research. where would apple be with out MP3.
Please stop.
If you were really into Microsoft you wouldn’t be spendig so much time thinking about and longing for Apple products.
Apple fans don’t need to troll Microsoft blogs, Apple’s products speak for themselves.
Or you could visit Microsoft’s attempt to copy an Apple store.
How old are you, anyhow? 12? 13? I mean, if you are any older you are a disgrace to humanity, but then you are a Microsoft fan…
transparent batteries are not a problem.
Just as Scotty asked the Mac mouse for the formula to make transparent aluminum for transporting whales through time and space, they’ll ask Siri for the formula to make transparent lithium for the batteries.
Wow. No.
Scotty put the molecular structure for transparent aluminum into the Mac briefly to let the engineer (who was destined to invent it) get a quick glimpse in exchange for that engineer making sure they got the then-current regular materials needed to build water tanks to transport whales.
Such an iPhone was portrayed on Corning Glass’ “A Day Made of Glass” in 2010, and it was a much better presentation.

Ahhh … The “Windows” iPhone
