Apple seeds developers with iTunes 10.5.1 beta 3, including iTunes Match update

Apple has seeded developers with iTunes 10.5.1 beta 3, sources tell MacDailyNews. The update includes a number of important stability and performance improvements for iTunes Match.

iTunes Match stores your music library in iCloud and allows users to enjoy their collections from anywhere, any time, on their iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, computer and/or Apple TV.

Once developers install iTunes 10.5.1 beta 3, they can turn on iTunes Match on each of your computers and iOS devices, sources say. On their computers, developers choose Store > Turn on iTunes Match. On their iOS device, they tap Settings > Music, then turn on iTunes Match. On their Apple TVs, Apple asks developers to turn off iTunes Match under Settings > General > iTunes Store.

  1. Here’s my fear: What happens when iTunes Match inevitably makes a mistake, misidentifies one of my tracks as something else? Will there be a way to correct it manually?

        1. You don’t understand English? Or twitter?

          U mad bro?

I’m basically saying its not my fault you are a beta male with the female gender. Sorry for the big concepts and words.

        2. No, I understand the words fine.
It’s your juvenile use of the chosen phrases that I don’t understand.
At least add some humor, or depth, or facts, or SOMEthing.

      1. “… details as provided by apple.”

Are you referring to a piece of fruit or Apple Inc.? I’d think a witty and discerning smart ass such as yourself would be more careful.

  2. Curious to know from testers reading this: are you folks uploading your whole library or a sample? if the latter and your library consists of say 100+ songs, it must start being a PITA having to reupload the content w/ each beta, no?

  3. Time to start purging the juveniles posting here. This immature gibberish has taken over nearly every blog and BBS i have been on lately. Except for those with alert moderators that is.
