10 apps that take advantage of iPhone 4S’ new features, including Siri

“A new iPhone means new hardware, and with the 4S, the most notable upgrades are to the processor and the camera. You also get some other goodies like Siri, Apple’s voice-enabled personal assistant,” Wendy Sheehan Donnell reports for PC Magazine. “But what’s even better is that a new iPhone means new apps that take advantage of those enhancements.”

“New and exclusive to the iPhone 4S is Siri, Apple’s voice-activated personal assistant who can schedule appointments, find you a good slice of pizza, tell you the local time in China, and more,” Sheehan Donnell reports. “Siri is fun to use and shows amazing potential for the future of voice control. A couple of third-party apps are already integrating Siri.”

  1. I’m hoping that Apple will port Siri to the iPhone 4. Or someone will provide a hack. I still love my 4 and can’t see any reason to part with it to get the 4S. I’ll wait for the 5 to see what magic Apple unveils then.

  2. Convex 1.5 for iPhone and iPad, is a revolutionary, stylish converter for iPhone and iPad. Convex allows users to type, and now on iPhone 4S to speak their conversions naturally in plain English and French. Convex 1.5 also offers Twitter integration on iOS5.
