Apple today released iTunes 10.5 which offers:
• iTunes in the Cloud. iTunes now stores your music and TV purchases in iCloud and makes them available on your devices anywhere, any time, at no additional cost.
• Automatic Downloads. Purchase music from any device or computer and automatically download a copy to your Mac and iOS devices.
• Download Previous Purchases. Download your past music, TV, app, and book purchases again, at no additional cost. Previous purchases may be unavailable if they are no longer on the iTunes Store.
• Sync with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 5.
• Wi-Fi Syncing. Automatically sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iTunes any time they’re both on the same Wi-Fi network.
iTunes 10.5 is availble via Software Update and also via standalone installer.

Got it!
It begins.
IT’S CLOUDY ALL OVER!!! =)
Looks like a storm is brewing.
😉
uh, where is iCloud in new iTunes app?
Maybe it needs 10.7.2 to show up?
Hoping that gets releases today. And iOS 5 tomorrow I’m happy.
Still have to wait till nov for the 4s though.
Anyone figured out what changed? It seems that ITunes has been doing all the things listed in the description since the WWDC. Right? So what did they tweak or change?
smells like Christmas.
And so it begins…
my current iTunes is 10.5b132. I run Software Update and it states everything is current.
Update: I figured it out. My partner had installed the beta.
… & still no high def file playback…
@ zumabebop: indeed.
as someone who converted a substantial library of CDs to Apple Lossless files, it sure seems like iTunes hasn’t done squat on its store to cater to audiophiles. Where does one buy uncompressed music, Apple? Not online.
Would be really nice to be able to delete previously purchased (and free) items permanently from iCloud account.
What if I don’t want to store my songs ‘in the cloud?’ Can you opt out of this?
Thank you APPLE:)
Havent downloaded it yet, but before I do, one question….
Is it snappy?!
