  1. Be gone, Facebook!

We could probably revive this stagnant economy simply by shutting down Facebook!

Maybe try it for a year. I promise you won’t miss it.

  2. Does anyone actually know anyone who uses Google ? I don’t, well, I know one Fb friend who got it to try, but she only ever uses Fb. I don’t know a single other person on G .

    1. Sadly I do know a few who suffer from major Google crushes. I never bothered to check out Google+, have no intentions ever. I value my privacy.

I am looking forward to Diaspora when they make it available outside beta, supposedly by the end of this month after a long wait.

      1. Tried Google+, lost interest immediately. I like Facebook as long as they stop fiddling with it. Great time-waster and both connects and disconnects you with people. There are worse addictions, but anyone playing Farmville or other dim-bulb games gets “unfriended.”

Auramac, you are not alone. I saw on SlashDot this AM that fully 60% that signed up for Google+ have already stopped using it.

          Google+ = Google FAIL

  3. Using Facebook is so aggravating. So poorly designed. I go there only when someone posts something, and it might be a couple weeks before I follow up. I use Facebook in Flipboard mostly, because it’s more user friendly. I’m hoping for the best.

  4. Very exciting! Just downloaded the iPhone version. Nice loading screen. Yep, nice, simple loading screen. Blue background. “facebook” logo. Oops, have to wake the screen back up. Still loading… Loading… Loading…

Meh, screw it. I’ll just drive over to all my friends’ places. Just a little faster.
