Obama, Biden check out iOS app on Apple iPhone 4 in Outer Oval Office (with photo)

In an official White House photo by Pete Souza, U.S. Veep Joe Biden and President Barack Obama look at an iOS app on an Apple iPhone in the Outer Oval Office, Saturday, July 16, 2011.

Obama is an iPad user, but also uses a RIM BlackBerry phone, so the odds are that the iPhone 4 they’re looking at is Biden’s or a staffer’s.

We also know that former U.S. Presidents Jimmy Carter and George W. Bush are confirmed iPad owners. The iPadiness of former Presidents George H. W. Bush and Bill Clinton is currently unknown, Clinton is a confirmed Apple iPhone user. (See related article below.)

MacDailyNews Take: Shall we play a game? …A strange game. The only winning move is not to play. How about a nice game of chess?

  1. We cannot tell for sure they are looking at an app but, whatever it is they are watching, must be some good poll results as Mr President looks happy about it. Probably is just a game where Mr President beat Mr Vicepresident. Don’t know.

    1. I am still amazed that there are those who ignore how Bush/Cheney took a $300B+ surplus and created a $1T (‘T’ as in trillion) deficit, while his sidekick Cheney spewed ‘deficits don’t matter’. Their incompetence is Obama’s fault? It’s not clear how anyone is going to clean up the mess Bush/Cheney left behind.

      1. You are feeding the problem. The problem isn’t that Bush screwed it up or Obama screwed it up further. The problem is that the government has too much power and control over our money and lives.

While people think that the government should have more power and control these problems will continue to get worse.

      2. Truth be told, limbaugh/o’rielly/hennity have the conservative lemmings frothing at the mouth with there ‘artificial truths’. In general terms, “the aggressor is always dominant”. The louder their bark, the more it’s heard. The sad part is, these spinmasters wrap themselves up in some sort of distorted, “christain values”.
Let’s face the facts, our elected servants of the common people have failed us in a big way, it’s that simple.

        1. Ludicrous lemmings lapping profuse perfidious propaganda.

For Tea Party members who’ve never opened a dictionary:

          Perfidious:
Guilty of perfidy; violating good faith or vows; false to trust or confidence reposed; treacherous; faithless; as, a perfidious friend. –Shak.

‘Shak’ refers to ‘Shakespeare’, this old guy from a long time ago who wrote very deep and meaningful plays that you’ll never understand or bother to read. And yes, you deserve being patronized. 😛

      3. No! Obama’s faults are Obama’s faults. He took a bad situation and made it worse. If you disagree, what metric can you state to back that up? Unemployment rate? Jobs that are out there are great paying jobs (unlike the Bush hamburger flipper jobs, and never mind that of the 54,000 jobs number reported in May of 2011 was due to MacDonalds hiring 30,000). Low Gas Prices? Decreasing energy and food costs? America is more respected around the world? Less Flash Mobs? More Civility? Our friends love us and our enemies fear us? What metric?

Regarding Clinton’s surplus, you do know he had a Republican controlled Congress ‘nough said. Today the Republicans put forth the Paul Ryan Budget Plan to jokes and ridicule from the Democrats who have no plan! Yeah, like Democrats left to their own devices could have balanced a budget, be it now or under Clinton!

Finally, those “Bush” wars are the result of Clinton’s mess… you know stained blue dress mess and lying to the American people as Bin Laden plotted and schemed. If Clinton worried less about getting his dick polished by an 24 year old intern and his other booty conquests and concentrated a little more on what the enemies of America were doing, then no 9/11 and no wars. So you see, in reality, the mess we have is Clinton’s aided by Obama and a Democrat controlled Congress passing health care bills that can’t be afforded and put burden on those that hire so they are not hiring.

        Patiently await your retort…

        1. As if you were actually interested in dialog. You’re looking for nothing more than another chance to spew your warped “reality”. Don’t wait up; the thoughtful have already moved on.

        2. >>Regarding Clinton’s surplus, you do know he had a Republican controlled Congress…

The Economic Recovery Act of 1993 passed without a single Republican vote. The Republicans didn’t gain control of Congress until after the 1994 elections. Perhaps you remember ‘Contract With America’…

    2. “Dumb & Dumber with big smiles looking at how they f#%ked up our country yet once again!!”

Oh, I know who f#%ked up my country! For 8 long, sickness infested years!

But that’s because I know how to think for myself. Thinking a rarity these days. Having a brain is also why I like Apple. Get it? Or is that concept too confusing for you to comprehend? 😆

If so, this will really blow your mind:
I’m no fan of Obama’s wimpiness either. Both parties can go frack themselves as well as the corrupt and stooopid Corporate Oligarchy that pulls their strings.

      1. What, a depression on top of the already ongoing economic depression the Neo-Con-Jobs already pulled out of their orifice? Do you call that a ‘Double-Dip Depression”?

Kids: PLEASE go read, watch and hear the PoliTard lunacy spewing from the mouths of the Tea Party nutjobs. PLEASE! If you don’t find their anti-intellectual ignorance and un-Christian HATE disturbing, you’re pulling the rope on the USA death knell, so long, nice knowing ya. 😕

  2. Not that I even need to bother — Obama-Biden are headed for an historic landslide loss next November — but, isn’t it nice that the U.S. prez, who’s so focused on U.S. jobs or, rather, lack thereof, carries a Canadian device while on his taxpayer-funded campaign tour in Canadian-made buses?

    Forget Kenya, apparently Obama’s Canadian.

BTW, Lib hypocrites, what’s the carbon footprint of a 42-vehicle bus tour?

    1. I’ll begin to believe it when the Republicans nominate a credible candidate. “Pray for rain” Perry and “Do as I say and not as I do” Bachman have made an impression – a negative impression.

Hell, I was all set to vote for McCain until he chose whack-job Palin for his running mate.

      1. “Do as I say and not as I do” Bachman

No no. She’s ‘Do as I meant to say, not as I say, not as I do!’ Utterly hopeless. Shame on the dimwits who elected that mentally challenged fag hag to Congress.

(And no, I have nothing against hags, or fags for that matter. Just blatantly lamebrain lunatics who marry obvious closet cases).

    2. @F10T12

How do you spell asshole (see above for a hint).
You had a republican president who initiated free trade with Canada and now you gripe about seeing a few Canadian things floating around. Like we see nothing American made here in Canada?
Is it painful to be this ignorant? Does medication help?

    3. nice comment on the Carbon footprint.

I’d refer the question to the US Secret Service.
They own the bus, and a duplicate for when the GOP nominee is announced. The vehicles in the entourage vary greatly on each trip, but they are all dictated by the USSS. No President has had control over that in years.

  3. Re “MacDailyNews Take: Shall we play a game? …A strange game. The only winning move is not to play. How about a nice game of chess?”

Oh, WOPR, how we have missed you. Now those of us who remember will watch the film again…. And scoff at your girth and DOS prompt.

  4. I will say it once more… The problem lies with neither Dems or Republicans but with the outdated wage slave model. As tech solutions take over the production of goods, there is no need for workers… If the current system continues there will be even more people who cannot procure ” money” to sustain the constant consumption required to fuel the current Econ system.

In addition the current constant consumption system cannot be sustained by the finite supply of raw materials. Oil is but one item soon to be depleted… If you think we have problems now… See what happens in 10 to 15 years…

  5. “Obama is an iPad user”

OK. so who’s the PoliTard in the White House who ordered all the iPad wannabe Blackberry PlayBooks™? Slick movement. I’m not cleaning that up! 😕
