“BGR has exclusively learned that AT&T has begun communicating launch plans internally for Apple’s next-generation iPhone 5 handset,” Jonathan S. Geller reports for BGR.
“AT&T is asking managers to finish training in order to have employees available for the influx of foot traffic expected in September,” Geller reports, citing “a proven source.”

My bet Apple plans to take advantage of Monday Sept 5,2011 as the first day of sales for the new iPhones. This would allow for huge queues to form which would add to the fall retail excitement.
Maybe they will announce it before to allow the public to plan ahead on how they will spend he Labor Day weekend.
What ever happens I predict Labor Day will be a bad day for androids.

Hmmm, I have only had this iPhone 4 for just over a year and AT&T’s website already say’s I am eligible for an upgrade.
