Yeah baby!
One question:
Why London for an American company?
One more thing.
Why not a US Gig as well?
why NOT london? the idea of Apple broadcasting a FREE music event is a problem? an event you can see free on an apple device? there is a real world beyond the shores of new york and los angeles and Apple is there too. unless you live in, near or want to travel to a city in the US, why does it matter where it is being held? if you look at the line up there are bands from europe as well as here.
Nothing against London, but why not a US venue and maybe one for the Asia/Pacific?
San Fran or Seattle would be nice for the US, Auckland or Sydney for A/P.
The festival s an annual festival which has been happening since 2007.
Apple happen to sponsor it, just as other American companies sponsor events overseas and UK companies sponsor events in the US. One modest example that I am aware of is UK car manufacturer Jaguar sponsoring the Pebble Beach Automotive weekend in August. I haven’t seen any Brits complaining that it should be held in the UK.
’cause London Rocks and English & European bands have more appreciative audiences there and recognized as such worldwide. Not many non-American bands make it in the US.
Great lineup. This makes me want to buy an apple TV!
Wait… this probably is the whole marketing shtick!!!
Live bands from across the pond?
There’s an app for that!
If you ever wondered if Apple was getting into the content production business, this global roll-out of top flight entertainment, just might be a slight indication.
Apple is in the process of inventing live global television while no one seems to be noticing that potential.
Live concerts and sporting events seem a good place to start. Rock On Apple!
Hold your horses everyone. This is an Apple SPONSORED event. If you want to organise something similar in the US, Canada or Asia Pacific then maybe Apple will sponsor you also… Just a thought!
