“Apple Store 2.0 is a major makeover for the Apple retail store experience. Apple has been working on this new type of Apple store for a while now and the development’s ceiling does not only reach Apple’s Senior VP of Retail Ron Johnson, but was led by Apple CEO Steve Jobs and Apple design chief Jony Ive,” Mark Gurman reports for 9 to 5 Mac.
“Apple is taking their personal setup service very seriously. Even more so in Apple Store 2.0. Personal Setup will have new dedicated areas in stores called ‘Startup Sessions.’ The new bars are said to be even more interactive,” Gurman reports. “Another major change at Apple Stores has to do with their signage. Today, next to each Mac and many products are paper signs. With Apple Store 2.0, those signs will be replaced with interactive iPads.”

And just when Microsoft was getting pretty good at copying the Apple store look. Ballmer will just have to start over. There’s no justice…or is there?
But what could they use? There are no tablets running WinBlows on the market that anyone wants.
They don’t run winblows, but now MS can use those 1000 recalled PlayBooks for their signage…
They could use iPads too! Then the poor, misguided folks would be snapped back to their senses and run next door the the Apple Store to buy an iPad.

Yes, those Microsoft people do seem to love dancing. They also danced to Thriller at that mock funeral they had for the iPhone last year.
In my world, you only dance when you have something to celebrate.
