    1. After reading the comments on Engadget, I’ve gotta say it:

History repeats itself: Now instead of Microsofties using words like “open” and “choice” to defend themselves against Apple’s “closed” ecosystem, we’ve got Googlers doing the same thing.

The fact is whether it’s MS, Apple, or Google, or whether the OS is licensed or not, for-profit companies own and control this stuff.

So pick which one’s best based on tech and user experience, not on some perverted use of the word “open.”

There’s definitely a lot of gnawing and gnashing of teeth going on over there with the iHaters and Fandroids.

I couldn’t resist posting a few choice words about their feeble tech of choice, to really get them foaming at the mouth and writhing in pain.

    Hee, hee. ;-P

  2. Yikes. The folks commenting over at engadget are INSANE.

They really, truly don’t get that the era of “Difficult to use” consumer electronics is over. They really don’t get that they are no longer important, because they are no longer needed to figure these incomprehensible devices out.

And they really, truly don’t get get that user experience is more important than specifications.

Was entertaining to read them for a while, now I’m getting nauseated.
