“Apple is seeding a fifth beta of Mac OS X 10.6.7 to developers, known as build 10J858,” MacNN reports.
“The file is a 434.4MB delta, and according to Apple has no known issues,” MacNN reports. “The company has, however, added Safari to the list of requested testing areas.”
MacNN reports, “Other components on the list include AirPort, Bonjour, SMB, graphics drivers and the Mac App Store.”

Looking forward to another useful incremental Mac OS update from Apple. That’s another reason that Apple products offer great value – their functionality improves over time.
Interested to note an apparent focus on the graphics card drivers in the last two betas – hopefully a sign of increasing focus in this area in general, with performance improvements to come! 🙂

I have been hoping for a considerable time that someone would take a closer look at Safari. Fast pipe and processor, yet Safari is much slower to resolve URL than principal competition; and it still crashes far too often on pages that competing browsers render just fine.
