“While iOS 4.3 hasn’t been released yet, it seems that Apple is already allowing iOS 4.3 AirPlay-enabled apps into the App Store,” Vaughn reports. “The first of them, StreamToMe just made it to the store and allows users to stream video to an Apple TV that was sent from a computer to your device… this particular use scenario isn’t really game-changing. Yet, we’re glad to have confirmation that Apple is indeed opening up the feature.”

“Crunchyroll” is a great app that allows you to watch free subtitled Japanese anime on your iPhone or iPad. If I could stream the video to my Apple TV… wow.

Well if they enable the video streaming capability from the PBS Newshour and 60 Minutes apps I’ll be very happy. Right now I can send the audio from these apps using Airplay, but they video isn’t enabled.

You can stream Netflix to TV right now as long as you have a Netflix account and an internet connection. It’s great.
