White iPhone 4 pops up in AT&T’s account management system

Verizon iPhone 4“It looks like Best Buy isn’t the only retailer with white iPhones popping up in its system,” Zach Epstein reports for BGR.

“AT&T is now showing two versions of Apple’s unicorn-colored iPhone,” Epstein reports. “The entries appear in AT&T’s Online Account Management system (OLAM), and read as ‘iPhone 4 – 16GB White’ and ‘iPhone 4 – 32GB White.'”

No dates are listed, but “it’s looking like late February or early March at this point,” Epstein reports.

  1. Apple is so smart. Just before sales of iPhone 4 start to lag because the more savvy customers know the next iPhone is coming in a few months, the mythical “white iPhone” magically appears to help boost sales during the April-June quarter.

    Maybe (on the timing). But I think Apple will give ATT (and the other “non-CDMA” carriers) an “exclusive deal” on the white iPhone, at least until “iPhone 5” is released.
