MDN, where are the posts about iOS 4.3 beta being release today?
I can’t wait to hear if Airplay is finally working in all the built-in apps!
Supposedly 4.3 officially supports 3rd party apps using Airplay.
This never gets old. Shall we start a pool for the cost when it splits?
Looking at 300 in the rear view mirror, very soon in the 400 range.
Suddenly the anal ists realize that 1000 is a real probability…
Still about $70B behind Exxon Mobile, but now about $72M ahead of M$.
Sheesh, Softie is dust.
@ChrissyOne,
Your new iMac is looming larger on the horizon!
@Vatdoro,
Everybody else is writing about it. What can MDN add? They’ll get around to it when they can.
As for AirPlay, I already use it with 3rd party apps like Pandora (double-click home, then swipe left to the audio controls–any app can stream over AirPlay). I suspect 4.3 is just a UI improvement.
Apple should buy AMD.
@ Arnold Ziffel
It is! Almost a bit too soon, methinks…
In another couple of months it will be time for a refresh, soI’m going to hold out for that. I have my fingers crossed that Apple might add eSATA to the iMac. A long shot, I know, but I can dream, can’t I?
…and if they DON’T add eSATA, I might just do this…

XOM is a moving target, unlike MSFT. Price of oil is rolling higher and higher, and if the US starts growing again it will be $4 gas and $100+ oil again much faster than anyone realizes. NYMEX crude futures are at $92.07 today.
All in all, it’s to our stockholder advantage not to exceed XOM for a while….AAPL shareholders already have to live with a ridiculously P/E ratio on a high-growth company and being #1 in market cap won’t help that any.
Me, I’m Uncle Joe and I’m moving kind of slow at the Junction (only old farts like me and Arnold Ziffel will get that without Googling)
Those Petticoat Junction babes were hot, once.
@Uncle Joe,
I’m still taking care of Fred and Doris.

How about lightpeak? That might be around the corner?
Not with copper. And besides, it’s going to be a while before Lightpeak devices start appearing. I can get a FW800/eSATA RAID right now. I don’t think we’ll ever see USB 3 on Macs, they’ll hold out for Lightpeak, but probably not this year.
@Uncle Joe: “AAPL shareholders already have to live with a ridiculously P/E ratio on a high-growth company”
I believe you meant to say “AAPL shareholders already have to live with a ridiculously LOW P/E ratio on a high-growth company.”
