Apple releases GarageBand 6.0.1

Apple has released GarageBand 6.0.1 which improves overall stability, and addresses compatibility and a number of other minor issues.

• Fixes an issue related to undoing Flex Time edits
• Removes occasional latency that can occur on guitar tracks
• Restores ability to use the Quantize Note Timing menu for tracks with Groove Matching

This update is recommended for all GarageBand ’11 users.

GarageBand 6.0.1 is available via Software Update and also via standalone installer.

  1. That FlexTime bug was quite annoying, to the point of forcing me to turn off the feature and concentrate on playing with more accurate timing. Now that I’ve updated, I can turn it back on and be sloppy again…

    Resent! You did not purchase it, it came as a free-be with the iLife suite. If you do not want it do not have to install it. D’uh!

    There are features of other suites and applications by other vendors I do not use, have not any use for but, I do not whine about them being included.

    Gees, get over your bad-self, you sound as though you are in some type of entitlement attitude. As for musical ability I do not have a-lick, to hear music I can only turn on our old tube type radio but, I neither whine nor resent Garage Band being included within iLife.

    Grow up “resent”, life is too short to be the purveyor of a childish attitude. My Bubbitte is mentally better adjusted than you.
