Woz: I was ‘totally wrong’ about Nuance/Apple deal

InvisibleSHIELD.  Scratch Proof your iPhone 4!“Retired Apple Inc co-founder Steve Wozniak said he was ‘totally wrong’ in recently suggesting the iPhone maker had bought speech-recognition software maker Nuance Communications Inc.,” Sinead Carew reports for Reuters.

“Nuance’s shares had touched a 2-1/2-year high on Tuesday, after TVDeck.com posted a video showing Wozniak saying Apple bought Nuance,” Carew reports. “‘I thought I’d read about it but obviously got it all wrong,’ Wozniak told Reuters in an e-mail, when asked what he meant.”

I like Woz, but anyone listing to him for business advice, or Apple secrets is stupid.  Woz created some of the most important advances in computer history.  He also crashed a airplane and had a brain injury.  Woz likes to experiment with new electronics, people see him with non Apple products and make a big deal out of it.  He just likes to take new gadgets apart and see why they tick, he always has.  He owns a shit load of Apple stock, helps when you are a original investor, but does not sit in board meetings.  Business was never one of strengths. To use anything he said for investment purposes is beyond stupid.
