Apple today announced that revolutionary iPad will be available in Austria, Belgium, Hong Kong, Ireland, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand and Singapore this Friday, July 23.
iPad allows users to connect with their apps and content in a more intimate, intuitive and fun way than ever before. Users can browse the web, read and send email, enjoy and share photos, watch HD videos, listen to music, play games, read ebooks and much more, all using iPad’s revolutionary Multi-Touch™ user interface. iPad is 0.5 inches thin and weighs just 1.5 pounds—thinner and lighter than any laptop or netbook—and delivers up to 10 hours of battery life.
Beginning this Friday, customers can purchase all models of iPad through Apple’s retail stores and Apple Authorized Resellers.
All iPad models will be available in Austria, Belgium, Hong Kong, Ireland, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand and Singapore this Friday, July 23.
iPad is currently available in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland, the UK and the US for a suggested retail price of US$499 for 16GB, $599 for 32GB, and $699 for 64GB for iPad Wi-Fi models and $629 for 16GB, $729 for 32GB and $829 for 64GB for iPad with Wi-Fi + 3G models. iPad will roll out to many more countries later this year and Apple will announce availability and local pricing for these additional countries at a later date.

The numbers are coming tomorrow.
Where is Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Lithuania, Latvia, Norway, Sweden, Iceland…? 🙁
Want one!
I heard that, initially, only the Wifi-only iPads will be on sale in Europe, with the 3G following (much) later. Has anybody any confirmation of that or a report which says that’s wrong?

Surfs up.
Yeah, I’ll line up next Friday in The Hague (The Netherlands)!!! Just one question: should I get the WiFi + 3G or WiFi only?
@BlieMeanie71
Do yourself a favor, get the 3G version. Part of the beauty with the iPad is the online accessability everywhere. It sort of makes the devices, well, um, magical

@ajdowntown
Thanks. Do you think 32 gigs is sufficient? I have a 16 gb iPhone and that proved to be sufficient, but maybe I’m missing something…
If you buy the 3G model, whatever you do, don’t hold it by the lower left hand corner while downloading data.
Now more people can be asking themselves and each other, in still more foreign tongues, what exactly they are suppose to do with this revolutionary device.
I’m really excited about the coming, revolutionary MacPros – now there’s a real computer!
@BlieMeanie71: I think, if you can afford it, it’s worth getting the 64GB top of the line 3G model because you won’t have to be thinking about what you’ll need to delete all the time to add the next great thing to it. It’s only a little more money to get the Maximum RAM and it’ll have that much higher resale value as well when you move on to the next model.
Where is Sweden? 🙁 Come on Apple, don’t make me travel on continent for iPad.
NICE!!! Now, I can use ipad in my country.
I just saw other article about Jailbreaking for iPad in aneesoft.com . some people who want to know more can read it.
