  1. “@RicMac

Glen Bech is a raving lunatic. This is not by any stretch of the imagination MAC news! Does show once again NDN political agenda. Is this becoming a political blog?”

No this is a website. And the last time I checked, it was owned and operated (and Paid For) by Mr. Steve Jack who can run it ANY way he wants to…

Like a typical BUM liberal, you post the nonsense above. You want to dictate (like the other liberal trash here) how Mr. Jack runs his website…Sorry, he is under NO obligation to listen to you or anyone else… If you don’t like, the internet is a BIG place, go run off to some other board and whine that “rich people” don’t want to give you handouts….

Or better yet, start your own BLOG/Message board, or website. Of course, SCUM like you would expect someone else to pay for it – – – which is why you are offended by a true patriot like Beck….

I like MDN, I am not as much of a crazed fanboy like him (or 90% of the users here), but I enjoy his articles, takes, and news. And yes, Being that I have I LIFE other than wondering what time Steve Jobs’ is going to fart today, I also like to read his opinions in other matters, … POLITICS?? No problem, as mentioned, he pays for it himself and can do whatever he wants…

Liberals can’t stand that… They think they are entitled to dictate how Steve Jack’ runs the site he pays for…

Pathetic, but then again, not the least bit surprising..

  2. Just when I thought it was safe to come back here, two months after I trashed the app, I see this. I’m really beginning to think that MDN is a side gig for Red State or NewsCorp.
Glenn Beck and his know-nothing ilk are worse than the Birchers that real conservatives like Bill Buckley tried to marginalize long ago.
Why on earth would an Apple centric technology site be associated with today’s American conservatism, which is closely identified with the hateful, servile, monolithic thinking reminiscent of Stalinism?

  3. MDN

Apple wool never shine an be so open minded an enlightened if Steve Jobs and his team were tea bag ignoramuses or biggots.

I hope the post above about chasing away c1 and Predrag isn’t right…

It would indeed behpve you to keep you support and political intimation in the toilet.

It would indeed behoove you to keep your bigot support and political intimation in the toilet.

  5. You guys claiming that Glenn is a “this!!!” or a “that!!!” sure seem to be doing a lot of pot-calling-kettle-black. For me, it’s hard to hear his points because of his over-the-top theatrics. But, I have no reason to baselessly call him names, except for maybe, “Noisy!!!”

  6. Ashami,

Nobody ever sent us a link for the debut of the “Rachael Maddow Show app” and we never saw a press release about it.

    It’s that simple.

Of course, it’s impossible to cover the releases of nearly 200,000 individual apps. However, we obviously do pick the debuts of interesting apps (for example, the debut of Skype for iPhone) and/or app debuts that multiple readers point out to us.

If multiple MDN readers had sent us emails on the day of the Maddow app’s release, we likely would have covered it. That is precisely why this article exists – we got multiple emails within the space of a few minutes which, we’ve learned, indicates strong interest in an article.

    Thank you.

  7. It’ll take more than that to chase me off. Most of the time, however, I just have better things to do. I only really enter the flame to practice my satire and get some of the touchier folks wound up tight like so many snare drums to beat on.

    But not today. Mahalo.

  8. @Uh-Huh

I’m a liberal, and I think Steve Jack can run his site any way he wants. Neither I nor all my left-wing liberal friends want to dictate anything about this site. If you think, though, that we have no right to complain about how he runs his site, here in the space SPECIFICALLY RESERVED for public comments, then it’s you that have a problem.

Anyway… MDN has been my homepage on all my devices for many, many years, but since Obama won the 2008 election, this place has been increasingly right-wing, or at least more vocal about it, and the comment threads have been war zones.

Thanks for a lot of good years, Mr. Steve Jack. I’m sooooooo outta here.

  9. To the first @ of me: I know, I said it was very, very minimally related to Apple and because the app has existed since iPhone 1, it’s absurd to call this news.

@Webmaster: that’s great and all, but seriously, the relationship to Apple is minimal and the app was already in the store. We don’t need updates on every little item that changes in an app – there are probably sites that do that. And, you knew something like this would ratchet up the hits as people began debating Cry Baby and his 9/12 bullsh*t rather than the app itself.

  10. @Uh-Huh,

Well said my friend!!! You are right on the money!

Just look at the dictating elitist responses of these idiot liberals to a simple article about Sirius/Glenn Beck reference…..sheesh!!!

It truly brought these idiots out of the wood work and they put their stupid dictating elitist responses on here for all to see.

They want to dictate to a person how he runs his web-site what articles he chooses. They would dictate how he runs his OWN LIFE if they had the chance.

Its America you idiot liberals…People can say and do what they want on their web sites…..GET OVER IT!!!!!!

This is why there is such a growing grass-roots effort to oust these idiot dictator liberals out of govt.

    Thanks for the post!

From an Apple Loving, Liberty Loving, NON-DICTATORSHIP Loving, Capitalist Loving, Free Market Loving, Free to run my own life (and web site) loving, Conservative!!!!!!

  11. Reading all the Glenn Beck hate speech is like watching MSNBC. All fluff (name calling) and no substance. You are all so stereotypical in your thinking.

Glenn Beck viewership is climbing both on the radio and TV. He must have something to say that has substance.

  12. @macdailynews webmaster

Uh, that doesn’t pass the laugh test.

You’ve NEVER posted anything remotely liberal, and yet it’s Rush Limbaugh this, Fox News that. Please, this would all be tolerable if you wouldn’t openly lie about it. At least just be honest and say, “yes, we’re republicans” and then move on. But this “Fair and Balanced” BS is just that … BS.

What, you received 100,000 submissions begging you to plug Glenn Beck? Please.
