“iPad apps are understandably in their infancy, but with the Apple iPad SDK already in developers’ hands they’ll soon be out in full force,” Michael Sawh reports for T3. “To fill the void, Apple has made the popular move of making the majority of the 140,000 iPhone apps from the App Store available to use on the iPad.”
Sawh reports, “We’ve picked out the iPhone apps that’ll make the most of their new tablet surroundings, selecting our favourites to make the smooth transition from iPhone to iPad.”

T3 is a British publication, so they wouldn’t have much interest in MLB. Just like the Sky Mobile TV doesn’t ring a bell for Americans.

iPlayerlist was an app that effectively scraped iPlayer which move the BBC did not like and their legal guys stomped on it with a cease and desist order.
As for other offerings how about some of the Satnav programs. I’m planning on building an iPad into my car as a supersize media centre and the satnav app will finish it nicely.

you can use your finger if you zoom in the image so that you have adequate control, at a small size of course your finger is too clunky
try sketchbook on the iPhone and zoom in image and see how great the control is
also, there is a stylus available for the iPhone and it will work on the iPad as well, I think it is about $10 and gives great accuracy
however, it is my understanding that the iPad (and iPhone) screens do not have pixel perfect accuracy. For example, with a tablet you have a certain DPI or PPI rating that I think is more sensitive than a touch screen. the array of sensors on the touch screen may be less tight on the iPad and iPhone compared to a tablet like a Wacom.
I guess we’ll have to wait and see but I think the iPad may make a good graphics tablet device with a finger and/or a $10 stylus
There wasn’t really any reason provided for why most of these apps would be better on the iPad aside from the screen being bigger.
