  1. I don’t see any where on Apple’s site where it specifically says it’s launching Mobile Me on July 9th. Everywhere I’ve looked it says coming soon like it has for the past month.

  2. “Does anyone know why Apple is doing away with iCards?”

    Yes.

It turns out that they are pure evil.

iCards have been directly linked to widespread outbreaks of toe fungus, voter fraud and the deliberate mislabeling of millions of jars of chunky peanut butter. Obviously, Microsoft is still interested in a buyout.

  3. Found a little pop up message this morning telling me my account had been converted and to go to Software Update. There was an iTunes update and a special MobileMe update which had me quit Mail before completing. After updating I went to http://www.me.com, but it still redirects to the apple page. mac.com shows a Maintenance message. Tick, tock, tick, tock.
